This month will have a different format. Each child will select their favorite Spring Theme, take a picture doing it or beside it and bring the picture to class and share with their peers.
An example would be: I enjoy playing soccer. I would take a picture of me with a soccer ball, kicking the ball or holding the ball. I would take the picture to school and tell my peers that the best thing to me about spring is playing soccer.
Remember… be creative!
April Craft Supplies
We require empty paper towel rolls for an early April craft. Please send with your child by April 4, 2014.
APRIL 16th ABLE DENTAL Classroom Visit
April is Dental Awareness month. Therefore, I have scheduled a visit to the classroom by a Dental Hygienist from ABLE DENTAL Clinic. She will demonstrate to the children the correct method of proper brushing and flossing to protect their teeth.
AGGIE DAYS FIELDTRIP - April 29, 2014
Our April field trip will be to AGGIE DAYS. This is an exhibition of rural displays and activities that are geared specifically for the children. The displays provide an opportunity for the children to view and participate in activities that demonstrate the relationship between urban and rural life. The most popular are the newborn chicks and the petting zoo.
Since we will be enjoying our snack at the Exhibition Pavilion, the Morning children will need to pack a disposable snack on this day. I pack all the bags into a box and distribute them to the children at snack time. Please remember to print their name on the bag.
The Afternoon children do not need a bag snack because we return to the school in time to enjoy our snack in the classroom.
April 18th – 27th – Easter Break
There are NO CLASSES for the children during this time.
